Moray Meccano Modellers

Inverness Sciencefair 2010

The Meccano Society of Scotland was  invited by the University of Highlands and Islands  to take part in the Monsterfest exhibitions.

We were invited to join them and did so on June 26th.

As part of the festival a schools' workshop was held at Grantown on Spey Grammer School in which forty eight pupils (and some teachers) were introduced to the joys of Meccano. This was made possible by MSS members' generous loan of twelve enhanced No 4 sets and M0 motors and battery packs.  The competition was judged by the MSS members at the exhibition, and the exhibition was also a  welcome opportunity for northern members to exhibit locally.
